HOW IT ALL STARTED
Manu, passionate about food and knitting transformed a former retail shop into Stitch & Bitch Lounge Café and Woolshop in May 2018, The original name of the café refered to social and knitting groups founded during WWII. The woolshop was sold to Loopine Co in April 2018 to and is still located within the café offering NZ and international yarns. Manu was always on the lookout for a German trained chef and when Dan, a passionate German trained pastry chef, chocolatier and barista joined OLD BAKEHOUSE BIERGARTEN & LOUNGE CAFÉ was born.
